Goals

This demonstration show how the famous video game doom run with the MutekH operating system on a Tlm-DT SoCLib platform.

Description of the hardware platform

The demo platform uses

• A Mips32 processor and its cache, running the embedded software
• A Ram component, containing the code and live variables
• A TTY controller, displaying messages
• A Block-device, emulating access to a real mass-storage peripheral
• A Framebuffer controller
• A VCI interconnect, connecting the above components altogether

Running the simulator

Running the command ./simulation.x will launch the simulator. The TTY displays application initialization steps and messages. The simulator outputs the simulation speed on its terminal. The game initialization takes some time before the first frame is displayed on the frame buffer.
