This virtual machine contains a ready-to-use GNU/Linux system image with SoCLib installed, usable in a VirtualBox.

Demonstration platforms

The following demonstration platforms were prepared for you:

• Tutorial 0: An "hello world" platform step by step video tutorial
• Tutorial 1: A multi-processor platform involving IRQs
• mutekh-vfs: Creating a filesystem exploration shell with MutekH
• dsx-mjpeg: Designing a complete data-flow application with DSX
• tlmdt-doom: Porting and existing software application (the DOOM game) on SoCLib & MutekH
• h264: Porting a H264 decoder

Installation

Please follow the installation process.

SoCLib system image

System image is preloaded with the latest versions (at the time of creating the Image) of:

• SoCLib
• SystemC
• SystemCASS
• MutekH
• GAUT
• DSX
• usual GNU/Linux editors, Xorg, ...

Paths on the SoCLib system

• Demonstration platforms are located in the users's home directory, in topcells/
• SoCLib full source tree is located in /opt/soclib
• MutekH full source tree is located in /opt/mutekh
• DSX full source tree is located in /opt/dsx
